OK so maybe it's late and I'm just waiting for the 5 hour energy shot I took to wear off, but has anyone noticed the Nets haven't worn their Red road jerseys in awhile? Now I was thinking, the Nets had said the Red jerseys were brought into play as a way for the Nets to slowly transpire to Brooklyn. Eliminating "New Jersey" from their road jersey and just having NETS made the team broader in the eyes of the NETS to the Brooklyn community (We also saw this in the removal of the NJ Logo from the court last season). But now after a couple weeks back when it was officially announced that the project was "Delayed until further notice" and it's becoming less and less likely that the move to Brooklyn will happen soon if ever, it seems the Nets have stopped wearing the "Brooklyn" Red jerseys. I remember before this they wore them this season all the time, including opening night. But this could also be just a superstitious thing. For as I can remember but can't actually track, the Nets haven't won many games while wearing the Jersey. And with a 10-4 road record, could it be that Frank,Thorn and the gang just don't want to shake things up? But if that's the case the road jerseys are helping them win....then shouldn't they wear them at home as well? Those are just my rambling thoughts....i'll go let this 5 hour energy shot wear off now by watching episodes of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia....
ABA jerseys. It's the only jerseys we wore championships in! But anyway, the red jerseys are used on extended road trips, it appears, while the blues are used on one offs on the road.
I like the red ones...and like stated above...I was really feeling the gun metel gray with the scripted "New Jersey" on the front...they have a clean looking "new" feel but with a touch of nostalgia
