I think they are fairly comparable talents, although I tend to like Lee more because of the way he plays. All I can say is thank God Denver and NY didn't consumate that deal; a power forward rotation of Kenyon Martin and David Lee would make the Nuggets very formidable up front.

the fact that the nuggets gm almost pulled this off is starting to tell me 1 of 2 things. kp is not trying to make moves (which is dumb if lee is available) OR nobody will trade with us.

either way its disturbing caus ethis current group isnt making the playoffs

I forgot what was being discussed, but the Bulls were talking about trading some piece of crap for David Lee too. He doesn't seem to have too much value anymore. Paxson tried to get him in the Curry trade, but Isiah wouldn't trade him then, so I wouldn't be shocked if the Bulls traded for Lee at the deadline.

Kleiza sucks. And I love reminding my friends from Colorado how much he sucks, since they love him so much, because he's both on the Nuggets and from our school.

KP is scared to stir his precious cake batter during the season. It is his kryptonite IMO

lee has little trade value right now because in 6 months he'll be a restircted FA looking for a fat contract, and some team will probably be happy to overpay to get him.

Except for the Kirk Hinrich for Raef Lafrentz trade that will inevitably happen : D

It would be a great trade for the Blazers.

That's not a cake batter trade though because he wouldn't be trading away any real pieces.

Man that is really tempting. I would get him and over pay to keep him.

Why wouldn't Denver do that trade? That's a steal.

Lee is a borderline starter in the NBA. He is a good rebounder but doesn't do anything else that well. Kleiza is bigger for his position and really seems to be shooting the ball well.

Even accounting for big-for-small bias, it doesn't look like it would have been an unbalanced trade to me.

Yeah, but I would love to get Lee on the Blazers. I think he'd be the perfect backup. Two players on the Knicks that I like are Duhon and Lee. I wonder if we could swing something.

Sergio/Webster for Duhon and Lee would be a solid move. Not sure if it works, but it seems like we could throw fillers in either way to even it out. Even for both teams, Sergio and Webster would flourish in D'Antoni's style and Duhon and Lee would be very effective under McMillan's coaching philosophy. Pull the trigger Pritchard.

Knicks aren't trading Duhon. You'd have to give up Rudy at the very least, maybe Pryzbrilla to get Duhon.

Kleiza could start/play the 4 for the D'Antoni system. Then put Harrington at Center. Remember Kleiza has had some 40 point games. And yeah, Lee will probably need a higher contract next year, but that woudl sure shore up the inside for Denver with Nene and Martin.

Duhon is worth far less than either of those guys. Thinking the Knicks could get Rudy for Duhon is a joke.

But the Knicks don't have a replacement, so they can't trade him.

What is the deal with Curry this year? I know you are a Bulls fan but thought you might know what's going on in NY with him.
