OK. Sean did not stand out tonight. Yes he didn't practice, but I expected much stronger game from him. He looked like regular in 14ers uniform
I'd say not a bad game by sean in his first appearence with the 14ers. I think in a week or so he will be a real defensive presence for this team. And, Gill will be giving him alot of alley oops. This will really help sean's confidence.
I thought he had a good game, would of liked for him to get some offense on the post. I think with practice and getting use to his new teammates he will show some promise offensively. Was impressed the most by Samb offensively, defensively Williams and Samb were a great PF/C duo altering and blocking practically every shot in the paint.
gill is the player of the game and said some nice things about sean. He said something to the effect when i heard sean was coming there would be a no layup rule. And tonight we just saw a bit of that. Seans final stat line was 18 minutes 6 pts, 4 boards, 4 blocks, 3 fouls.
tonight the 14ers lost 115-108. Sean williams started and only had 3 pts in 16 minutes, but had 6 blocks. The bad news is he had 5 fouls in 16 minutes http://www.nba.com/dleague/games/boxscore.jsp?gameId=2020800102 He didn't shoot much. But clearly his defense still needs some work.
