From Yahoo's "Winners and Losers" of the trade deadline:

This is just an addition to the whole Darius Miles fiasco. KP is getting on peoples nerves, including mine, his ego is unbelievable. Pritchard, come back down to Earth!

A link would be nice, but I'm guessing that "Woj" authored this petty garbage since it is a Yahoo article.

What? You didn't get the memo? Season's obviously over. No need to even watch the game tonight.

Why stop there? As far as I'm concerned, yesterday our championship window slammed shut for another 20 years....

and Kevin Pritchard killed 2 newborn puppies with his bare hands.

Pretty sure Isaac asked him how much he's been on the phone discussing trades. KP gave him his answer.

People are jealous of KP people; learn to love it. I do.

Who wrote that piece? It wasn't that Wojo chump who seems to be obsessed with Pritchard, is it? Because that was just pathetic. Snarky without even being remotely amusing or insightful.

Ehh, we don't know for sure what was on the table. I wouldn't have given up Bayless. But I definitely would give up Batum, Rudy, Travis or Sergio to land a good SF like Gerald Wallace or Caron Butler.

We've all gotten a little too excited over this team who hasn't done anything yet. Out of the whole roster, Brandon Roy is the only one that has established himself as a top 10 player. Right now the rest of them are not even borderline all-star calibur.

Wow. What a terrible piece. How exactly is it douchebaggery for KP to say that he "exchanged more than 1,000 e-mails with team owner Paul Allen"? This isn't bragging, not is it a reference to "mass e-mail"... and it wasn't even KP who wrote that OTHER infamous email!

Ugh. Even critiquing this piece of garbage makes me feel dirty.

A stupid note. Silly premise and ridiculous "evidence" to support it.

1,000 emails over a month is significant, but it's not RIDICULOUS. 1,000 emails a month to Paul Allen is more impressive in how it shows how seriously Paul Allen was taking things, and that the lines of communication were open, rather than KP bragging about the sheer number.

So to mock that number shows a lack of imagination or comprehension.

Just to give a bit of an outsider's opinion - I don't think he's a bad GM, I actually think Pritchard is a very good GM. But he's absolutely, positively a douchebag. An unbelievably large douchebag. The Darius Miles situation really sealed it.

I think Henry Abbott's comments on Pritchard after the deadline did a pretty good job of summing it up - he made some calls, felt some teams out and ultimately decided he couldn't rip anybody off. But listening to the way he, more or less, just dicked Thorn around, seemingly changing the offer for Vince every 5 minutes, totally reinforced my opinion of him as a huge douchebag.

With all due respect, Thorn is a complete douchebag for (A) putting the blame for his own incompetence on another GM and talking about negotiations in public, and (B) screwing the Nets out of an additional $16 million in cap space by not unloading Carter. I caught Thorn's act yesterday. What a freaking baby. Boo hoo, I couldn't get the better of Portland by making them eat Vince Carter's crappy contract and get the better value in return.

Enjoy losing at home to the Wizards. Oh wait, that already happened.

You mean the way Pritchard signed his boss's name to the Miles email? That was douchebaggery of the highest order.
