Nice to see the Raps didn't roll over and die when the going got tough, this one just felt different than those other games, I could see guys were really fighting tonight even when down 16. Bosh getting pissed off at Cardinal was the turning point IMO. Andrea Bargnani was awesome, Chris Bosh was solid, Jose Calderon and Anthony Parker were excellent. Worried about missing Graham though, we're gonna need him in this final stretch. Oh and how about Bargnani's 26 points while only 1/2 from 3! That really shows the exapansion of his game. Nice to see him passing a bit more again too.
First quarter. But yea, I suppose its indicative of how shitty this season has been that we're all celebrating a two-game win streak over the Knicks and Jefferson-less Timberwolves.
I'm positive this is a phrase invented by Raptors fans. There is no such thing as a two or even three game winning streak, or a "mini" winning streak. I'm not blaming you; it's just something I've seen so many times in the last decade, exclusively dealing with the Raps, that it irks me.
^ I'm serious, though. Try to think of any instance you've ever heard it not in reference to the Raps? I really think it originated with our pathetic selves.
I think you're right. Every Toronto sports team sucks, but the Raptors are the only one that've yet to experience any real success, which allows most of us to be happy with a lot less.
