Who should coach the Raps?

    It's funny you mention the Lakers. There's whispers the Raptors will pursue Kurt Rambis this summer.

    This is my answer for any team looking for a head coach...

    Bill Laimbeer!

    He will make them play hard nose defense, and he is able to coach pussy's. :)

    Jeff Van Gundy would be great for this team but is pretty much un-realistic because he just signed that lenghty contract with ESPN. My two candidates would be Eddie Jordan and Ettore Messina. Jordan did a very good job with the Wizards. Especially with Blatche and Butler. He's a great coach, and knows how to play the game right, teach, prepare his team before game-time and ajust while his players are on the court. The wild card would be Ettore Messina is a communicator and a teacher and one of the best in the world. He studied under Dean Smith at UNC in the 80s, has deep connections in the Raptors organization, and has been coaching Cleveland's summer league teams for the past few summers and has had an exchange program for learning with Mike Brown
