Yi didn't almost miss half the year, he only missed 16 games, which is only about 1/5 of the season. Seems to be the Nets organization trying to cover Yi's horrendous start to his NBA career and the fact he looks like a bust every game he plays.

Given how little his teammates pass him the ball (both on the Bucks and on the Nets), I agree that he hasn't played much. It's like they are playing "keep away" from Yi...

I would be a bit hesitant to give the ball to a 7-footer who shot 39% from the field.

    What a bust.

I think it's unfair to call him a bust this early in his career, since everyone knew he was going to be a project when he was drafted. If he's still performing like this next year or the year after, than you can consider him a bust. However, he's still young and is still developing, and everyone knew he was going to take a little time, so it's somewhat unfair to call him a bust this soon.

You're right, it's premature. I've just been disgusted with his play and he doesn't seem to be making any progress.

What's laughable is that he tried to force a trade after he was drafted :biglaugh:
