This game will tell me a lot about Yao Ming. It's hard to win in Utah, and I know he hates playing their. Barkley said the Jazz will win by +15. When they lose he won't say the Rockets played well. Like always, the other team played bad. What a dumbass.

Chuck Hayes and Lowry need to step up tonight.

The Rockets only stay in the game because of their defense. The Rockets camp out at the three. The Rockets are competitive (in the regular season).

It's never the Rockets are a good defenive team. The Rockets are playing well and are second in the west.

The media will never change. People never change. All because of the sorry NY Knicks.

Edit: Barkley said, "The Rockets can't compete with the best four teams in the west." THEY ARE ONE OF THE TOP 4. Give them credit. They have been beating the western conference playoff teams and the best teams in the east all season. They lost most of their games to crappy east teams when the roster changed every night.

The Jazz get away with so many travels it's not even funny. Brewer took 3 huge strides to get that dunk.

    Jerry Sloan ruined this game.

Not unexpected, the Jazz cheat as usual and get away with it.

Holding on to 2nd in the West doesn't seem quite likely given the schedule ahead but as long as we have homecourt I think we have an excellent shot of making it out of the first round.

Well looks like Barkley somewhat knew what he was talking about, wasn't off by much on his predictions

Jazz are a bunch of fucking floppers. Korver, Kirilenko, and Okur are all pussies. If they get touched, the fall to the ground and get their calls. I'm so sick and tired of this shit. All of our starters played a hell of a game. It's the reffing that pisses me off. Wafer got screwed over on that charge, which should've been a blocking foul and an And 1. Jazz fucking suck, pussies.

You guys played a great game outside of Artest & Wafer both making stupid decisions. I like how Wafer & Lowry were a 2 man team for about 4 to 5 possession when Artest went out and they made Yao a non-factor when he's Houston's best threat against Utah.

Right now the Rockets are matched up with the Azz (3rd-6th). I DO NOT want to watch them anymore. Let them be someone elses problem.

This is what Jerry Sloan calls basketball. He's slowly ruining this game. Soon it will be worse than baseball.

It's called "Winning Basketball", it's the style that gets you somewhere in the playoffs ;)

Winning? What have they won? Exactly.

Only reason Utah gets those calls is because the NBA is so obsessed with their image. Could you imagine Yao Ming getting handed the trophy? No, you can't.

Stern couldn't stand handing the trophy to a Muslim either.

I'm pretty sure Sheed & Memo are Muslim, & they won it with the Pistons not so long ago....just let's blame religion

Um, don't know what the Jazz won, but have a good look at what Houston won.

The thing I don't understand is how can someone use "We won it all in (whatever year)" but how does that work when you weren't even a fan then or didn't even watch basketball then? Like Arizona was good for a decade before I started watching them, but I don't feel attached to those teams that were successful, it's just not the same.

Yeah, that's been said that already.

Try something original, like not being no championship Utah's bitch in the playoffs.

But anyway, this kind of argument wont lead anywhere good so I'll leave it there.

This isn't directed at anyone on this forum, but is it just me or has the intelligence level across the basketball forums really gone backwards since JBB sold out/merged/whatever you want to call it?

It's the rules, there isn't anything against post padding or any real discipline compared to JBB, then there are some hundreds of OT threads in team forums rather than their respective categories

Yup. Certain mods especially are nothing like what they were on JBB. Not you J_Ray. I find pressured to adapt to fit in.

I don't think Rockets and Jazz fans can have a respectable debate. It is only a matter of posts before the shit talking begins.
