Great win by the Rockets. Lakers had an off night, and we capitalized. Brooks, Yao, and Artest were great. Chuck was fantastic in the second period. Lowry made some nice plays. And Battier did his job in making Kobe less efficient. I think they'll need a better effort from Scola, Landry, and Wafer if they want to win game 2.

BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA!

How sweet it is! Oh man, when Yao went down. Why can't it come easy. He came back and still dominated. Artest and Yao did there thing against Gasol and Kobe. Did Odom, Ariza, and the rest of the Lakers even play?

I love the game plan, let Kobe score for three quarters but take everyone else out. In the 4th, get the ball out of Kobe's hands and make some one else take the shots.

    GO ROCKETS!

    Game 2 will be HUGE!

    Nice job!

If the Rocket defense can get inside Kobe's head, this could be real interesting.

    1) YAO IS A FUCKING BEAST! "I really wanna go out there!" I wonder if Tmac would ever say that. Yao's jumper from 15-16 feet are automatic, his agressiveness is the reason he did so good today. He'd just turn around and go right for the jam
    2) Battier is my hero. He started bleeding like it was nothing. He played awesome defense on Kobe. I think the difference between Artest and Battier is that Artest plays physical and loose, but Battier plays positioned and fundamental which is the reason I think Battier is the best defender in the league.
    3) Vujacic is A BITCH. He acts so innocent as if he never commited a foul in his life
    4) Brooks is best when he takes control. He had this one clean layup where he shook Shannon Brown, split through Gasol and layed it up with the left hand. He also had a couple of nice baseline drives
    5) Lowry and his physical defense is awesome. I just love the way the dude plays
    6) Artest showed up from start to finish. His offense is what we need, we need more of that

GREAT GAME BY THE ROCKETS! Anything can still happen though

The better team won last night, that was embarrassing to watch on my end.

LA won't be winning anything like that, time to regroup and man up. Develop some mettle, goodness.

Vujajic is a bitch! I agree 100% and I hope the Lakers lose this series! Yao deserves to, the way he has played hard throughout his career... and maybe McGrady can have a resurgence next year, ride on this years success (finally getting out of round 1) and help his team repeat (getting out of round 1). haha
