Historically gas goes up during the summer. Also the dollar is weaker because of all the stimulus packages. They can't curb the upcoming inflation forever.
Yeah gas goes up in the summer, because they switch over to their "summer blend", amongst other reasons. It is a joke, all a fucking scam.
It was 4 and a half dollars per gallon last year over here (edit: actually I think it was closer to $4.27; $4.30-something), so that is much improved at least.
Not at this time of year, though. At least not here. It didn't hit $4.50 where I live until like August.
The gas prices in LA are redicoulous. I went there in the spring and they were literally almost two dollars more than Memphis gas. Here gas is only around $2.50-2.75.

Had a great weekend. Why does my work week have to start again today? Anyways, so I went to Lazerfest yesterday and saw Korn and whole plethora of other bands. It was a good time, as was the entire weekend. But to the point here, at Lazerfest, I saw some of the most messed up shit I've seen in a long time. First, while The Veer Union was playing, 2 ladies squatted down in front of me and started peeing. This might not have been too bad if it weren't for the fact that we were about 3 feet from the stage in the middle of about 10,000 or so people. Second, me, my girlfriend, my brother and his girlfriend were all just sitting in between bands eating some food, when all of the sudden we hear this guy just cursing up a storm, threatening to beat the shit out of some guy because he had bumped in to him. Seriously, it's a concert. There were 20,000 people or so there by this time, so you're bound to get bumped in to by someone. Anyways, so all the sudden, this dude that was screaming this shit just fucking pounces on a dude, punching him in the back of the head first. When the guy went down, he slammed his knee in his face and just continued to wail on him as he went down, hitting him another 5 or 6 times on the back of the head. Why? Because he bumped in to him. I seriously hope security found that piece of shit, called the cops and arrested him. People like him absolutely deserve to spend some time in jail, there's no reason to just pounce on someone because they bumped in to you. But yea...interesting shit apparently happen in the middle of a cornfield in rural Iowa.
