Man, I can't believe they're already trying to blow up a team for another big guy.

    What the fuck?

I can see Allen is very inconsistent, but still a good player. Giving up Rondo would be a HUGE mistake.
My gut says nothing gonna happen anyways

Common sense says nothing is going to happen, too.

An experienced GM and coach aren't going to rip their players and then put them on the trade block right after. It was obvious there was tension on the court with Rondo and his teammates, mainly Ray Allen. It's not the first time Ray Allen's had issues with teammates before and he's every bit a diva like Rondo is being made out to be.

I'm not surprised Ray Allen is being shopped around. He has a large $19K expiring contract and the Celtics need cap space and some youth to reload. I think they'd be willing to part with Rondo to get a deal done for another All-Star caliber player. How about Ray Allen + Rondo for Josh Howard?

Rondo wants to be the star....it's not gonna happen. All these rumors for Amare are just ridiculous.

I could see them trying to see what they could get for Allen...he's not getting any younger and if they can get a solid young guy for him, then maybe they'd consider it. But I'm surprised to hear Rondo mentioned in there with him.

This is bullshit, as Chutney pointed out in another thread. They took quotes from 2 years ago and applied them in a recent article. Rondo isn't going anywhere. You guys got owned by hoopshype.

BTW, the Amare "rumor" was started by some radio idiot, who took back what he said the next day.

Good detective work by Chutney. It did sound crazy. Having KG back and winning will fix any chemisty issues.

Why the hell would the suns do that?

A lineup of Nash - Rondo - Allen - Shaq would be messed up.
