I wonder what the kicker was for New Jersey making this deal? This isn't much for Vince Carter and you have to wonder about the previous deals they've turned away for Vince during the past couple of seasons. They must be having some serious financial issues. All LeBron James to NJ (Brooklyn) rumors should be dead now. There's nothing left on the team for LeBron to win a title with. Very strange trade.

Just not a great deal for the Nets..especially giving up Anderson. They better hope that the 2010 free agency period goes well or else this will have been a waste. Can't wait to go to Nets games this year, me and maybe 500 other people for each home game.

I think it is a pretty normal trade, reminds me of ours a bit. Just another financial move from a rebuilding squad.

So Yama is no longer a Nets fan. Huh.

    The chapter has closed.

gtfo ***. Magic for life. lol, jk. I'm a Carter fan before Nets, but I'll still support them. Just not ahead of the Warriors or any team Vince is on.

The Nets just scored the starting back court of the Finals losers. They could have done a lot worse. They also got a serviceable big in the deal.

Orlando got rid of the guy in front of Jameer Nelson and got Vince to play SG and as insurance if Hedo walks. If Hedo does walk, the Magic would be able to move Shard to SF and play a prototypical PF out there.

The Nets now have something of a logjam at the G positions.

Devin Harris and Brook Lopez are pretty good, also there is chance for CDR, Courtney Lee and T-Will to prove themselves before next offseason.
