A couple of years ago there were talks that the 76ers wanted to trade AI to the Wolves, but the deal breaker was that we wanted Foye to be part of the deal. I believe the deal was Mccants, Foye, and others for AI. However, the Wolves refused to part with Foye so the deal that would have paired up KG and AI died out.

Now fast forward a couple years, KG is in Boston and has won a title, AI is going on his fourth NBA team after many people thought he would retire a 76er, and Foye is in Washington traded for the 5th overall pick (Rubio) who might never wear a Wolves uniform.

Funny how one move that did not happen, could have changed so many things.

AI and KG isn't good enough to win a ring.

Didn't say it was but getting AI for Foye would have been better than getting the 5th pick in this years draft, considering Rubio will not even play in Minnesota. Also forgot to mention that AI has now become a forgotten man in the NBA. He went from leaving the 76ers because he "wanted to win" to being a FA who is only drawing interest from bottom of the barrel teams like Memphis and Charlotte. Sad stuff.

You know what's even funnier? Your other favourite team made the exact same mistake as Minnesota, overvaluing a prospect like Luol Deng (who never fully became what they anticipated) and missing out on KG.
