This definitely puts them as one of the top 3 teams in the NL. Teams are going to have to be even more careful with how they pitch to Pujols now that he has protection around him.
Well he went from one extreme, to another. I think he still has power, but he doesn't have the mile high air helping him anymore. But he went to Oakland, which is like Death Valley for power hitters. That place is a baron wasteland. I think if he played a full year in STL, he could put up 25-30 HR's.
Holliday had like a 4 for 5 game today. A's get their future 3B Wallace who was a 1st rounder last year from Arizona State. He is a fat chubby kid but has some power and plays good defense. He is like a white Pablo Sandavol.
It's still there, but he was playing in a pitcher's park this season. I think he could end up with close to 25 or so homers this year with a strong second half of the season.
