    Odom went on a twitter rampage yesterday. Said he's ready to announce big news of some sort. Odom's decision making is just mind boggling.

    Prefers to play in LA, but is willing to accept less money to play in Miami on a weaker team.

    I don't buy this notion of Odom wanting more job security by getting a 5 year deal. I'm not sure if he's considered life after basketball, but a majority of former Laker players have enjoyed the limelight by sticking around. Rick Fox, Michael Cooper, James Worthy, Kurt Rambis, Brian Shaw etc. Dr. Buss takes care of all these guys and they have a lot of opportunities winning and staying in LA.

    Odom is starting to remind me of Glenn Rice.

    Hopefully Riley flew into town to work out a sign and trade.

    Averages out to $8.3M per, which is where this started at. LOL. Odom is going to cost himself $5M at this point. I think the Lakers would bump it back to $10M per if Odom was ready to sign. The Buss family genuinely cares for Odom and want him back.

    No I hear that it is 3/25 but with incentives that can bump it up over 3/27. Seems like a good deal for me. If he doesn't take this then so long. Make a decision already and move on. It's kind of sad really the amount of attention LO is getting. He probably likes being treated like a rockstar which is why he is dragging this out. Wade and Riley are treating him like a king when he's nothing more than an inconsistent 3rd/4th option. I wonder how many players his caliber has ever received such treatment.

    Yeah you have to wonder if Odom simply enjoys the attention he's receiving. Keeping his name in the media is good for his businesses I guess.

    He's likely going to be Option #5 next season behind Kobe, Gasol, Artest & Bynum

    A couple of options are off the table.

    Ike Diogu just signed with the Hornets & Hakim Warrick is close to a deal with the Bucks.

    I was hoping Diogu was available if Odumb leaves, he had a couple of good games for the Queens at the end of last year. The Lakers need to do something soon or other options will not be available.
