Being sensible I don't believe a) it needs changing or b) that it can be changed to accomodate people fairly. For that reason, unless someone comes up with a more logical plan, I'm afraid it will have to stay as it is.
Because this game is about involving people, not excluding them. I have put a lot of things up for vote but this will not be one of them as I want everyone to have a chance to play the game and I realise other people have commitments and time differences meaning 8 hours wouldn't be nearly enough. At no point did I say this should be put up for vote either. While I want it to be a game people can have a say in it is for exactly the reason shown in this thread that some decisions have to be made by one person rather than the majority. I'm hope you will understand this and continue in the spirit the game is intended.
Yeah, we're moving along, leave it 24hrs, because of work, I would miss the 8 hr limit every time. And I cannot make a list either, when it's my time, that's when I think about who to draft.
