Source: RealGM I wonder what the TWolves would want in return? The Utah Jazz own the Knicks 1st round pick next year and teams aren't allowed to trade 1st round picks back to back. I guess NY could offer their 2012 pick? Knicks other potential players might include David Lee? Jordan Hill? Danilo Gallinari? Nate Robinson? Wilson Chandler? Seems like a far fetched scenario.
It's garbage. Makes zero sense for the Wolves. Not to mention we would never buy out Rubio, sign him, wait the required amount of time, then trade him. We'd just be losing money. Doesn't make sense.
Can we officially replace that phrase with "Alex Kennedy scenario"? btw, Bill Simmons tweeted about it:
The forums are bad enough but now the wiretap is getting crappy too? I'm not a big Rubio fan anyway...
No offense dude, but what happened to you? A wide-eyed, enthusiastic young kid who got a bit of access and was excited to be involved in the world of journalism. He vowed to himself that he'd value good writing, insightful commentary, and honesty above all else. With his foot in the door, he slowly was exposed to the darker side of sports journalism. Lies. Deception. Drugs. Booze. Hatred. Sex. Jealousy. Drugs. He did what he could to survive in this world, willfully ignorant of the compromises he was making along the way. One day he looked at himself in the mirror and Peter Vecsey's face stared back. He had been totally corrupted by the dark side of journalism. I feel like I could sell this as a screenplay.
