Another article today reiterates Wenger's interest in the Osasuna RWB. Rumour is that he has a buy-out clause which is very high, supposedly as much as £10m, and his transfer fee (likely much more than £2m) would be added on top of that.

    - After turning a record profit this past season, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may be given additional funds for new players in January and in the summer.
    - However, Wenger insists that there is no pressing need for him to spend money on new players.
    - Spanish side Xerez is serious about signing Carlos Vela, who could be open to a move should his playing time remain minimal at Emirates.

Sol Campbell would be thrilled to return to Arsenal.

    I bet!

I mean, who wouldn't want an out of shape, 35-year old defender?

    Lots of news today...

    - Man City and Arsenal could get into a bidding war for Puyol (Barcelona), which doesn't bode well for Arsenal.
    - Cesc Fabregas will not discuss a possible move to Spain with the media, insisting that he is committed to Arsenal.
    - Aaron Ramsey's confidence is growing by the day thanks to inspirational chats with Arsene Wenger.
    - Winger Arda Turan (Galatasaray) fancies a move to Emirates.
    - Arsene Wenger is interested in Turkish starlet, international winger Arda Turan (Manisaspor/Loan from Galatasaray).
    - Italian defenders Leonardo Bonucci (Bari) and Andrea Ranocchia (Bari/Loan from Genoa) have captured Arsene Wenger's attention.

I love it, maybe we're just trying to tell Barca to back off of Fabregas by poking around their roster.

I don't even rate Puyol, why can't we start rumors around Messi or something.

Did you see that Fabregas denied an interview with Spanish newspapers over these new rumors? Attaboy!

    - Arsenal is closely watching PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau.
    - Puyol is seen by Arsene Wenger as a perfect defensive partner for Thomas Vermaelen.

That's strange... I wouldn't think Wenger would look at Puyol.

Remember wenger saying if Barca keep hassling about Cesc he'll activate Messi's release clause, which is something stupid like £120m lol.

Some interesting rumors here, probably none will materialise though :(

    - Arsene Wenger was close to securing Swiss international Gokhan Inler during the last transfer window and continues to monitor his progress with Udinese. Inler has been a little flaky with his intentions using the proverbial "I'm under contract" line when asked about his ambitions.
    - Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner, who changed his number from 26 to 52 this summer, is still unhappy. He'd prefer 7, worn by Thomas Rosicky, or 9, worn by Eduardo. Rosicky won't give up his number and Eduardo wants Gael Clichy's number 22. Grow up, boys.
