Is there any chance that we get to pick up a guy from FA or through trade to solidify our bench? Cause right now, I'm really worried that our team is pretty much only 6 or maybe 7-deep when Gasol returns. (Starters + LO and Shannon) Especially when we look at Boston and Orlando's roster, it looks like we really have the weaker team in terms of depth.

So, do you think Mitch is gonna make any moves?

It's going to depend on where the team is at prior to the trade deadline in February. The Lakers have two open roster spots to add players, but they'll want to keep those open and be flexible to hedge against injuries.

I think we'd benefit with another big body with playoff experience and also a speed guard who can play defense.

Just read alot of articles. And I'm just more worried right now. lol Especially when they keep hailing the Celts' D and depth. Same with the Magic's Offense and depth.

We'll have a better idea of how good the team is when Gasol is back and has played 20 games with Artest.

Depth helps in the regular season. In the postseason, most teams go with an 8 man rotation anyways. Drew-Pau-Ron-Kobe-Fish-LO-Brown-Walton is nothing to complain about. I'm sure with our expirings Mitch will be on the phone shopping near the deadline.

Agreed, I'm not worried about Luke too much to be honest. He knows his role and can efficient if he defers enough.

Luke, Farmar and Sasha will find their way and fill their role.
