I don't even know why I bothered making a thread. Needless to say I won't even be pissed if the Lakers lose this one. I've never felt sorry for a player and his team's losing, but looking at Devin Harris and his body language actually made me feel bad for them.
He's a pretty solid all-around player. His jump shot has vastly improved since he stepped foot on Louisville for the first time (though still needs to work), he's a very good passer and a good rebounder for his size, and also a damn good athlete. I really like the kid and think he's got potential and ability to be a really good player.
Only problem with this kid is that he is a ballhog and takes the opportunity that he is in (a developing Nets team) to try to showcase his abilities. He takes some pretty bad shots and is shooting a low percentage because of it.
I think that's just part of being young. Most young players in his situation would probably do the same. I think that'll change as the season progresses and he grows as a player. And to authentiq, I do agree, I feel he's got all sorts of defensive potential because of his athletic ability.
Terrence Williams is a stud. He didn't put up spectacular numbers in college because of the system he played in, but he has all the tools to be an All Star in the NBA. He's also eccentric which makes him interesting to follow. I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw his name in the Dunk Contest.
