Hoelzer Reich clothing (HR4Life.com, MySpace/Hoelzerrich) sponsors several pro fighters including Mac Danzig, Lyle Beerbohm, Donald Cerrone, and Joe Brammer. Those guys have been outspoken in support of the brand. However HR is getting some flack lately because the imagery they utilize in their clothing seems to suggest if not an admiration of Nazi/SS symbolism than at least an unsettling resemblance to it. Case in point... Note the use of an iron cross, trooper helmet, biker-style letter bands (many biker gangs are whites only), and the suggestive crooked HR symbol that resembles both the infamous 88 swastika as well as an SS patch. They also have clothing with peaked officer-style hats and patches/badges which are direct copies of those worn on German uniforms in WW2. This is from The UG... HR has gone out of their way to deny any political or racial motivation behind their brand, meticulously explaining their use of imagery here. Yet HR has also been sponsoring a metal band named Westwall which allegedly is a skinhead group founded by a neo-Nazi member of the Nothern Hammerskins. Any links or references between the two parties have been removed now that the UG mob is after them and denials have been made. I won't link to any of Westwall's music but you can get a taste of it on YouTube. HR also sponsors a fighter named Niko Puhakka who is a skinhead. To make things even worse for HR, supposedly their clothing has been advertised for--perhaps unwittingly--on Stormfront, a large internet community of cowardly shitheads from across the world united by hatred. Das vierte Reich hat begonnen. "The fourth Reich has begun." I hope for the sake of the fighters this is all a coincidence and HR doesn't have any ill intentions, but this seems to be stacking up awfully fast...
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties Also, in that last shirt I posted, the spider with the skull head is also suggestive. The Jews were often attacked in propaganda that had people getting caught up in their webs of lies.
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties The evidence is pretty convincing. I hope the fighters they sponsor are only in it for the money.
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties I can't say I'm shocked. Lurk around Sherdog for awhile, and you can see a steady undercurrent of this crap. Something about MMA attracts knuckledraggers who wouldn't understand concepts like "honor" or "sportsmanship" if you tatooed the definition on their hairy butts.
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties I bet they sponsor him!
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties HR has supposedly been taking some t-shirts off their site recently. Hmmm...
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties From Niko's myspace page...
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties lol where can I buy a shirt like that? I don't think it has ties with nazism, its just cool that it's in german.
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties Nope, no similarities there... http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/12/7/1189494/fact-check-on-controversial-ufc
Re: MMA clothing sponsor Hoelzer Reich catching heat for possible Neo-Nazi ties [upda Credit to littleguy from the UG... This will pretty much put it to bed... I dunno how the UFC can allow HR any longer...
Re: UFC bans Hoelzer Reich clothing [updated] It comes as no surprise that after an internet outcry, from the UG mob especially, Zuffa has banned HR clothing. http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/ca...elzer-Reich-for-Zuffa-fighters?urn=mma,207448
Re: UFC bans Hoelzer Reich clothing [updated] just saw this thread....I think its ALL obvious evidence but the part that made me think 100% Nazi was the "SS" in the "Broes before Hoes" tshirt This stuff must be marketed to Pussy Nazis rather than Physically strong ones...."Wear this shirt do show your racism, and then say its not racist when you are about to get your ass kicked!" ....and then proceed to get you ass kicked while wearing supposed fighting gear....ironic
I'm interested in seeing how the fighters sponsored by this brand react to all this. I want to hear how they try to explain themselves out of this one.
