It's a shame these student athletes can't even pass their lower level classes to make it to Bowl games. I mean, they take like 6th grade AP level classes and can't even pass that.
so I'm trying not to freak out on this kid.. but since I didnt go to college.. but according to O-live he didnt complete 6 hours or semester credits.. are these 6 literal hours? If the dude misses out on the ROSE BOWL because he didnt do 6 hours of something, thats just pathetic. http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindducksbeat/2009/12/rose_bowl_jamere_holland_is_ac.html
Usually, when they say "6 hours" in this context, it means 6 hours per week in the classroom, for the duration of the term. Since "12 hours" is the minimum for a fulltime student, that still isn't much. It usually tanslates into 2 courses.
