    Oh well. What can you do? I feel secure with our immediate future. Rivers is just entering his prime, same with Floyd and Jackson. Gates is in it and our defense was underrated this year (during our 11 game win streak we allowed only 16 PPG). We need a running game. I feel confident heading into next year.

    Fuck Nate Kaeding. I hope someone kidnaps him and slits his fucking throat and plays in his blood tonight.

    yup, it always seems to come down to the one part of the game that really has nothing to do with football... It's kicking a ball into a goal post, but it still adds great excitement to the game. I just don't get how he missed 3 field goals within 40 yards... I thought this guy was on auto, he can't kick in the pressure huh?

    He has a history of missing FGs in the playoffs. What's the use of having a kicker who's automatic in the regular season, and can't hit a thing when it counts.

    when it clearly is a part of football, how can you really say that it has nothing to do with football?

    kicking is part of the game. people need to be able to deal with that. pretending it's not is just bullshit to try to make yourself feel better when your team loses.

    I'm not a Chargers fan. I was just stating a point that I've heard on ESPN about how kicking is the one part to football that is it's own thing in a way, I'm not saying get rid of it. I'm just saying how important the kicks end up being when the game in over. The kicker is like the pitcher in baseball, he has to make sure he gets a strike and if not who else gets blame? (unless its the spot placer.
