How'd we lose this game? I didn't see it live, only saw the box score and Kobe was amazing, it seems.
That was no offensive foul. Not just Artest missed FT's, either. It would have been nice if Gasoft would have manned up a bit.
Really you have to get the ball out of Gasol's hands in clutchtime. What cost us the game imo the defense in OT. They had everything easy while Kobe had to make fadeaways to keep us in the game. And again, they didn't feed the ball inside the whole game...I'm bummed because we should have won this one. The officiating was bad on both sides, Miami got several bad calls down the stretch
The Lakers didn't show up until the 4th quarter. I enjoyed the Kobe Bryant show in the 4th. Our defense was slow rotating, but the star of the game was QRich. He made us pay for double teaming DWade by draining 7 three pointers. The officiating was terrible all night long. Both teams got shafted equally.
I heard on the radio this morning Kobe changed up his pre game routine because he's been struggling shooting the ball. He practiced his shooting for 4 hours prior to the game. Albert Pujols stopped by to meet him and work out a little with Kobe. Pretty cool.
I would actually have to disagree, I thought it was a pretty blatant charge. FTs and poor defensive rotation killed us. If we make even just a few of those 10 missed freebies, the game probably doesn't even see OT.
It could have gone either way on the charge call. JO was sliding over a bit, but you could barely notice it in the replay so it must have been hard to see in real time. I'm not sure why Kobe didn't just shoot a short jumper after he created the space originally.
Kcal showed multiple replays of the play. O'neal's leg was clearly still moving. I'm sure it was harder to tell in real time, though.
it can be a charge still when the defensive player is moving, you just gotta be squared up.....i didnt see the replay, just saying That Beasley dunk over Gasol was BRUTAL....anyone see where that landed on the espn top 10?
Gasol and Bynum should've had a field day against Miami's big men, yet, we can't seem to recall them playing well right? Fucking pathetic.
Uh, Bynum had 10 and 10 in the 1st half, despite foul trouble. Not his fault the guards didn't run through him.
This drives me crazy. Bynum is doing a great job of running down the court and establishing post position deep in the paint and the guard with the basketball swings it to the opposite side of the court away from him or jack up a low percentage jumpshot. That is so damn irritating to watch.
