Can you imagine a young team comprised of a Wall-Evans backcourt along with Casspi, Thompson, Hawes, and Carl Landry?

Yes I can, and it still doesn't impress me.

And they would still be in Sacramento with (good) owners in kind of a bad financial position.

I'll give Petrie this. He has a hell of an eye for talent. Especially at PF. Some of the PF who have been in Sacramento under him:

    Cweb
    Gerald Wallace
    Brian Grant

not to mention the two he has now.

This example just shows what a bust Oden has been and where we could be if Oden was a 16-12-3 guy.

Wall is the best player since Durant to come out. I think he will be the best PG by his 2nd or 3rd year. As much as I like Rose, I have been amazed by watching Wall this year.

If the Blazers had another blue chip player, PF or Center, we would be right there with Denver, Utah.

BUT, Our 2007 pick is/ was/ will be a bust. Those who think otherwise probably still have Darko on their fantasy team.

    Waiting, waiting, waiting...............................

The problem with Rose is, he's too unselfish. He allows crappy playmakers like Deng, Hinrich, (and when he was here, Salmons) to control the ball. And in all fairness, Wall has better instincts, but is nowhere near the athlete Rose is. I still believe that in 3-4 years Rose will become a top 3 PG with Wall.

Wall will probably be a 21-5-9.5 guy while Rose will be a 26-5-8 guy. For the record, I love both.

Well, in Casspi they have the NBA's #1 flopper. Aside from that, it's a team that really doesn't impress me.

I reckon they'll be better than the Trailblazers in 5 years with that team (plus signings, of course).

    shots fired!

After the injuries I've seen this team endure I wouldn't bet against you.
