    - We got Mike Holmgren to the be the president of the organization. I expect him to turn our situation around in a few years.
-We fucking kept Mangini. Don't even remind me on that. Oh well, as long as he's ONLY the head coach.
    - Cribbs is most likely gone. I think we can get something decent in return. He's a great special teamer, but he's not much of a receiver. i'm disappointed he's leaving, but he's replaceable.
    - We either got the 6th, 7th, or 8th pick in the draft.

I've been upset by this offseason thus far.

I read Cribbs was upset about their contract offer. Apparently the Browns only offered him 1 million and he thought that was disrespectful.

lol @ Mangini, winning all those games to end the season came back to bite you in the butt :)

Anyways, you guys also hired Tom Heckert away from Philly to be your GM. It's tough to evaluate him, he was kind of a puppet here in Philly, because basically all the moves were facilitated by Fatass Reid, and Fatass Reid got the last say in everything, but Heckert was given the GM title. I hope he works out for you guys. This move won't effect us at all because we'll have the same idiot running the show for years to come, but maybe we'll get a better looking puppet. Cheers to me!

Thats exactly why I was absolutely pissed we were winning. Not to mention it ruined our draft position.

And was Tom Hecket the same genius who drafted the diamond in rough aka DeSean Jackson? We could really use those types of picks. If we're lucky, we might snag Golden Tate early in the 2nd round or Mardy Gilyard.

No that was Andy Reid (Reid actually has a decent track record when it comes to drafting). Honestly, I don't know what Heckert did for us. Reid has all the power. He basically controls the draft, free agency, trades, or at least he has the last say in everything.

I can't make any judgments about Heckert, but I hope he is successful for you guys.

One thing to note is that, the Browns are keeping Mangini and his staff not to blow it up (again) after only a year or two. It's apparently a sign of good faith to lure Jon Gruden next year. Next year is when we should make the jump from a below-average (meh) team to a possible playoff team. Eric Berry might not drop to us :(:(:(:(:(

Sheldon Brown is a great pickup. He was an excellent cornerback for us, and I think a bit underrated playing alongside Asante.

Gocong was disappointing. Maybe a change of scenery will do him some good, but he got benched towards the end of the season last year for a 7th round rookie. Even at his best, he was nothing more than average. I wouldn't expect too much out of him, but he may be a better fit for the 3-4 defense than the 4-3.

I wish best of luck to both of them though.

thats exactly what i was thinking about Gocong. He played out of position most of the season and was uncomfortable in the 4-3. He should be an above average defender here in Cleveland. Most of all though, these are great character guys.

    Love the Brown pickup.
