I agree with having one of Roy or Miller on the court at all times. Bayless has been extremely effective at SG, but struggled at PG. Letting Roy or Miller play the 1 will keep the team in a better offensive grove. Once Roy can play 40 mpg then he should be starting, but if he can barely play around 30 then I like using him as a super sub.
Have to go with Bayless. His role is to get up and down the floor and attack the defense, and you know he can attack Steve Nash in the half-court. That isn't the way Roy plays, especially right now just coming off knee surgery. I was actually hoping McMillan would take Roy out in the 4th and put in Bayless because of how well he is playing and getting to the rim, but I should have known Roy would hit the big shots down the stretch.
If you allow yourself to not perceive depth in that picture, he looks like a giant-headed bat. Freaky.
I have to agree. The other thing is that we go to Lamarcus in the beginning of the game anyway while Brandon takes a backseat with Miller orchestrating the offense. Might as well just bring Roy off the bench.
Camby L-Train Batum Bayless Miller Bring Roy in about halfway through the 1st quarter, earlier if things start heading south early. Definitely start Roy in game 6 though...
3/4 of you would start Bayless over Roy? This confirms my observation that few fans on here actually understand the game of basketball. All Blazers had a + last game, except Rudy who had a 0 and Bayless who had a -7. Bring back the rotation that got us to the playoffs, Roy, Rudy, then Martell/Jerryd. Jerryd will most likely be spelling Andre at PG anyway.
So I guess the Blazer organization "must not understand the game of basketball" then. http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2010/04/trail_blazers_roy_will_come_of.html Get off your high horse, already.
