well back when i listened to rap i'd use it simply because it's ominpresent. It pops up every other second in lyrics, and in speech, but then i made myself replace the word with something like "people" just cause i didn't want to be misunderstood. Now i don't listen to rap anymore, so situations where i'd want to use it don't even come up.

I used to use it a ton in jokes, but nowadays I never use it. I haven't used it in a almost a year now, and I'll probably never use it again/The thing I hate, is that black people say it everywhere, then when a white person says it, it's considered the most offensive term in the book. No sense made

But a lot of them don't even know the real meaning of it or even care why it's offensive. The only thing they care about is "That white boy just said nigger, I guess this is time to throw down with him." I'm not racist by any means btw, and I never ever say it in public. The only time i say it is when I'm jokin around with my friend/brother/dad and say something small like "nigga please." But I would never ever call a black person that word, even if my best friend was black. It's just wrong.
Ok, heres another thing, the rules about the word nigger arent really... umm supposed to be understood... there jus kind of there, they wont ever change (well maybe) and that is that, im not saying you guys dont have a god arguement just sayin that it is how it is, you know?
i dont use any of those words... not even to my family or close friends. On a diffrent note my cousin wants to call his kid Nigga because it means prince... i dont know what language.

i guess you could say that im from an affluent town, and one of my friends is from a neighboring city that is pretty hard. hes not white, but me and him are still on a "nigga" basis. i have no problem with "nigger" unless its used in a derogatory way towards a black person.
I dont mind white people using it, as long as they arent trying to be black with it. The stupidest thing i've heard in my lifetime from a white person is ''I can say Nigga, i have black friends''
I dont really see the big deal of saying it when your joking around. i say when im joking around all the time and none of my black friends care. I think its only bad if you actually say it and mean it though
