I'm loving what Boston has done. I'm a Cleveland fan but Boston has been very impressive. If the Lakers reach the Finals, I would LOVE to see Boston stomp on the Lakers dreams again. That would be so much fun to watch. If the Suns reach the Finals, I think Boston would be a tough draw for them but it would be a wonderful story if Nash finally got a championship. I'm definitely still interested in these playoffs.
Boston got lucky they beat the Magic. The Magic decided to wake up after game 3 like idiots. If the Magic had fought with this much effort and heart from the beginning? You would be seeing LAL-ORL again in the finals this year, IMO.
Boston is playing incredible basketball right now. From a pure offensive and defensive perspective, they are playing at a level that I haven't seen since the Shaq/Kobe Laker teams that won titles. I'm looking forward to seeing them in the Finals, regardless of the opponent. Like you, I'd want the Lakers to lose but the Suns to win in the Finals. I can understand hating teams, but from a pure basketball perspective, Boston, now that they're healthy, is a complete team.
First of all, my partner was born in Akron and so he and I both root for his hometown team. Of course, I don't root for the Cavs when they're playing the Blazers. Secondly, I never rooted for the Bulls in the 90s. I rooted for every single team who played them. I'm still pissed about Game 6 of the 1998 Finals. Don't get me started.
ABC's ads are just orgasmic fellatio that the Lakers and Celtics are in the finals. I want to vomit every time they air. The NBA is dead to me.
like every year for the past 15 I'll be heading to the Deschutes River for an extended weekend of prime time fishing with Pops. Where we go there is no cell phone, TV, or even radio reception. I miss the first few games of the finals but it's definitely worth it STOMP
I'll be rooting against the climate control equipment in both locker rooms, and I'll be rooting for a catastrophic sewage backup on the level right above the luxury suites.
