So who is announcing it in 1 1/2 hours?

I really hope Baylor and the stupid Texas legislature doesn't cause problems for the rest of the expansion.

My point is since CU is in and since OU isn't going w/o State; it's a fight between the BU people and the Tech people and BU no longer have the governor's office like they did during the formation of the Big XII. I personally think the Bears are SOL

If Colorado is in, which they just announced, then Baylor is assed out unless they can convince someone to consider Utah or BYU and make it the Pac-18.

Crazy week for the Pac 10.

Masoli gets the boot, USC gets hit hard with sanctions, and the Pac 10 expands.

This is like watching history in the making. It's exciting and unpredictable. Oregon and Oregon State should consider themselves the luckiest programs in college football (other than Washington State)... guaranteed games with Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Colorado. No one will ever again question strength of schedule at the end of season.. that is, if this avalance of activity doesn't blow up the BCS.

They would do well in either the Mountain West, or join up with Nebraska in the Big 10, along with Notre Dame and maybe either Colorado State or Utah.

One thing that everyone is missing is that, while football is driving all of this, college basketball will now be ULTRA interesting.

They will be fine after swallowing a big helping of pride
They can join the newly expanded MWC with Boise
Baylor can join SMU, UTEP, Houston, and Rice (like they should have in the first place)

    Ya, cause that's the same.

Kansas goes from a BCS conference, where they play Texas, Oklahoma, OSU, Tam, Mizz and others in basketball to playing no one. Plus, the Mountain West commish voted against expanding.

LOL, yes it does. Basketball is profitable, but it's not football.

what is with this shitting on Oregon and Oregon state? the Arizona schools have much worse football programs. Cal, UCLA, and Stanford aren't exactly better. And do you really think UW has a better football program than the Oregon schools? WTF?!

Now if the conference could get the schools that matter, it would be great.

@Jake_Trotter OSU booster Boone Pickens: "We're in" -- if Big 12 exodus to Pac-10 happens. “It cost us, but we’re in.” Credits facility upgrade foresight.

As sick as someone can be, as a KU fan, I can't begin to describe how sick this makes me.
