I think KG is more effective than Baby when Pau and Bynum are both in.

Drew says that draining the knee worked and he is 100% playing on Sunday. He expects swelling to come back after the game.

He is also set to have surgery in early July and take 2-5 weeks off after that.

Could all this playing affect Bynum in the long run?

That pic of KG looks so weird. Why does he look so skinny. lol

Re: NBA Finals: Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers (Series tied 2-2)

I'm SO pumped for game 5. It IS a must win for Boston, but, once again, not necessarily for us. Still though, a bigger game than game 4.

Bynum has announced that he definitely will play Sunday. This kid is tough. Trade him for Bosh? I don't quite know if we want to anymore.

Expect the Lakers to control the tempo in game 5. I'm actually expecting the first blowout of the series. The Lakers EASILY have the better team, but if the Celtics WANTED it more, they could easily beat us. Thing is, I'm VERY confident we want this more than the Celtics, you could see it in our eyes.

Game 4, I expected us to lose, just by pregame demeanor of the Lakers (Celtics were fighting for their lives).

The Lakers basically said they want Game 5, and I expect the game to reflect that for all 48 minutes.

Celtic fans, you have been very worth opponents, but last Thursday marked your last victory until the 2010-11 season.

    Mark my words.

If the Lakers EASILY have the better team, the series would be over already.

Re: NBA Finals: Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers (Series tied 2-2)

what? you do realize the series is tied at 2 a piece? so why would it be a must win for the C's and not for the Lakers? there is no logic in this statement, only a biased, ignorant opinion. despite me being a laker fan and really wanting the win, i dont see how the celtics are going to be in need of the win more than the lakers? its tied up, equal.

these kind of quotes is what make others resent lakers fans, please stop, because you havent even made any argument to support these positions.

While I do agree with you that this is a must-win (as is every finals game, really) for the Lakers just as much as Boston, I think he meant there isn't as much pressure for the Lakers as the loss only means two games in LA.

yes but we'd be down 3-2 against a tough celtics team. we already lost at home anyway, so i still dont see how this loss would be less important for the lakers...

I have to agree that it's a must win for Boston while if LA losses they go back home where they're comfortable and could win both to close it out. It would be tough no doubt but Lakers are the current champions for a reason.

Do or die for Boston tomorrow night.

Damn quit over reacting. Lakerman only meant that the pressures on the C's in game 5. He didnt say game 5 wasnt important. Chill out!

Re: NBA Finals: Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers (Series tied 2-2)

im not overreacting im just discussing a point. i was under the impression that we could discuss things in this forum. its just counterproductive when people make claims without backing them up.

and once again i still dont see how the pressure is on the C's, its on both teams as its tied at 2 games a piece. how can the pressure be on either one side or the other? its obvious that the homecourt advantage means a lot less than some of you are making it out to be, as thrilla pointed out, it didnt exactly work in our favour.

please, if you are going to make claims that regard the final outcome of these finals, atleast have some sort of argument to back it up. thats what discussion is all about.

Re: NBA Finals: Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers (Series tied 2-2)

There is more pressure on Boston because if they lose Game 5 they have to go to Los Angeles and win 2 games in the Staples Center where the Lakers have been great this post season. And I know the Celtics won one in L.A. already but losing in Game 5 would mean in order for them to win they would have to take 3 games in Los Angeles. That puts alot of pressure on them.

From the Lakers perspective, if they lose Game 5 they can take some comfort in knowing they get to go back home and win 2 games in there own building. Its just a much smaller task for the Lakers if they lose tonight then it would be for Boston if they lost. Im not being biased those are just the facts.

With all that said, I think Boston could lose Game 5 and still win the series. Its just going to be really tough for them if they do.

FTs 15-5 LA, can't wait to see how some Laker fans will try to blame the refs if they lose.

Kobe was on fire, but Boston had an answer for everything. The rest of the Lakers look like decorations out there.
