I thought the officiating was unbelievably awesome. They really let them play. At times I was shocked with how much they let both teams get away with. I think they tightened it up a little bit late, and the Celtics never adjusted. Both offenses were stagnant all game, but I thought the Celtics got tired late in the game and committed dumb fouls, sending LA to the FT line for half of their 4th quarter points.

btw, you guys should thank Rasheed and KG for not boxing out once all game. I would have put Scal in there early on because at least he tries to box out. KG and Sheed think it's a jumping contest.

^ lol I thought it was funny too man, I was watching with a cousin, and told him first quarter that we would lose the game because we were getting out rebounded on the offensive end. it was pathetic. Celtics should work hard to get some rebounding bigs during free agency.

Interesting. When I watched the Lakers miss all those shots from 1 foot away I thought we were going to lose last night. I kept yelling "how can you miss that?" "go up stronger and dunk the ball!!"

The rebounding edge was a direct result of missing point blank shots.

The Celtics proved PJax words were accurate when he got caught talking about Boston's 4th quarter meltdowns.

So the Celtics weren't allowed to get those rebounds?

They weren't in position to rebound them because they had just contested a shot attempt or they blocked the ball right back into Gasol's hands. The Lakers length played a factor in that sequence.

There were a couple like that, but definitely not most. Sheed and KG don't box out and neither can jump anymore.
