Sparks Fall to Liberty

    The Sparks dropped to 3-11 on the season while the Liberty brought their record up to .500.

    The Sparks trailed for most of the game with the Liberty holding its largest lead at 21 to the Sparks 5.

    The Sparks were led by a season and career high from Noelle Quinn with 24 points in 38 minutes. Two other Sparks were in double figures, (Milton-Jones 10, Ferdinand-Harris 12).

    The Liberty had three players in double figures as well, Pondexter 19, McWilliams-Franklin 14, Pierson 13.

    The Liberty outscored the Sparks in the paint 38-24 and almost doubled their second chance points with a 16-9 advantage.

    The Liberty outrebounded the Sparks 35-22 and the Sparks fell 1-8 when being outrebounded.

    The Sparks fell to 0-6 when trailing at the half and 0-5 when being outscored by their opponents bench.

    The Sparks tied a season low in FGA with just 56 and grabbed a season low 22 rebounds.

    The Liberty improved to 7-3 when scoring more than 70 points with their 80 point total and improved to 2-0 when holding their opponent under 70 points.

    The Liberty improved to 6-2 when leading at half-time and 4-6 when shooting less than .500.

    With the win, the Liberty brought the overall series history to a tie at 14-14.
