Kobe and Bynum need to be 100% healthy in the playoffs next year, Gasol too. Odom needs to find something to get him motivated every night.

Kobe and Wade is an advantage to the Lakers, barely, IMO.

Artest might be able to hamper LeBron, but he's going to get his no matter what.

Bynum plays money D on Bosh, I like our 2 bigs vs. Bosh.

    Lakers in 7!!!!

    LOL at Cleveland

We already got our two rings so I'm good. Anything else is just bonus. Just because Lebron/Wade/Bosh may play together doesn't mean anything, they still have to fill out the rest of their roster. But if the reports are indeed true, then yeah I'm worried if we have to face them in a 7 game series. Good thing we are in the west...

So long to Lebron's legacy for however long he is playing in Miami. He'll have to share the spotlight with Wade/Bosh if this is true.

yeah im not really scared of this to be honest, if they somehow snag some good role players though, then im shitting my pants. but yeah, they'll only have three players able to score, lakers have kobe, pau, bynum, artest, odom, along with a pretty solid supporting cast. rome wasnt built in a day miami, so just because you have three great players does not mean that you'll find a way to make it work.

I do wonder who will be able to dominate the ball--Wade or James? Both are ball dominant and can't really play off the ball.

It'll be interesting to see. I wonder how the egos will work out. If Lebron goes to Miami, he'll have to share the spotlight with Bosh. It's Dwyane Wade's house, and he is the face of the franchise. Lebron/Bosh will just be there as his sidekicks. That must not work with Lebron's ego too well.

My guess is Lebron signs a 3 year deal, plays with Miami for 3 years and see what he can win. Then he's going back to free agency and this thing starts all over again.

NICE! We get to beat them out all at once!

Why do all these "Big 3s" insist on losing together?

On paper, they are the best team. Ever. In reality, how the hell is DWade, Bosh, AND LeBron gonna get enough touches?

I can see Bosh being VERY unhappy being third fiddle on this team.

And I can't WAIT to see the role players on this team.....Brian Scalabrine anyone?

Well Shaq had a lot of help, but he was the best player on the team. Something like that could be the case with LeBron.

I could see this being temporary as well (3 year loan?), if the crazy rumors are true.

If this happens, Lebron's basically going on national television tomorrow and telling everyone Cleveland sucks. What a way to show your city and hometown of Akron appreciation.

His press conference to explain why he's leaving was going to be on ESPN either way.

I doubt he insults Cleveland at all in the press conference. It'll be some kind of professional "no thanks, but maybe some day".

Am I the only one that thinks this ruins NBA basketball?

I would prefer he go to the Nets, but let's see it could just be for a couple of years, etc.

completely disagree. why can't they play off the ball? they are better on the ball, they're the two best players in the league. but that doesn't mean they won't be cutting for alley oops all day when the other guy has the ball. i think lebron and wade should be able to play off each other very well.

i also don't think it's actually going to happen. it's one of those things i won't believe until i see. it would really hurt lebron's legacy if he requires going to a super team to finally win a ring.

Neither player has proven they can play off the ball. Wade's outside game is suspect as well as James'. As for two best players in the league, lol okay. We've all been down that road with you before, not going there. It's funny that the two best players in the league have to team up to topple the best player of the past decade. (waits for HK to chime in that Shaq or Duncan aren't on the Lakers)

I also agree this is going to tarnish LeBron's legacy if they do indeed win some rings. I can understand if he was 32+ and as done everything he could possibly do to win a ring but came up short...but not in your prime...its just...weird.

I'll be upset if he goes to Miami.

Still there's some stuff that could go down. There's still some time before the conference and he could legitimately be on the fence.

After a night to sleep on it and with all the feedback, things could still change.

neither guy has proven they can't play off the ball but you state it as if it's a fact. there's more to playing off the ball than simply spot up shooting. and the suspect outside shooter that lebron is still shoots the ball as well as kobe from 3.

and yes, the best player of the decade would be tim duncan.

also, it's not kobe they have to topple. it's the lakers. and guys like pau gasol and lamar odom.

Guys don't worry that much, we'll knock them out at least this first year of them being together. ;)

Good luck filling out the roster.

If this happens, it'll make me sick. I honestly hope there's chemistry issues off the bat and that they're never able to get rolling. I'm also hoping they aren't able to land any good veterans too, but it's probably all wishful thinking.
