Cannot believe that the Breaking News on ESPN is "LeBron James to announce his free agent decision on one-hour ESPN special" What a joke.
Hm, I'm getting this feeling that all 3 are going to agree to play with each other in Miami. Just imagine, @ Bron's press conference he brings out Bosh and Wade and they all agree to a deal with the Heat to start their dream team!
I really don't think the 3 of them would work in Miami. For one, there's only one ball. That'd be an issue, regardless of how selfless they all may be. The other issue is finding 8 or 9 guys to play for league minimum. Good luck with that one.
It is just a last ditch effort to recruit for their home teams. Last advice to share around before the official signings, after the moratorium period. These guys don't all want to play on the same team from what I gather.
I'm sure LeBron knew about Wade-Bosh going to Miami before anyone else and will decide whether he wants join them or try to win on his own. Chicago has the best supporting cast for him to play with and they can still add one more quality free agent (Boozer or Lee) Cleveland a lot of off season changes in upper management, new coach, limited roster flexibility and free agents generally aren't attracted to playing there. I still think New York and New Jersey are intriguing, but will take longer to win in the immediate future. Probably need 2 or 3 seasons to put together a Championship team. If he goes to Chicago their lineup could potentially be: PG - Rose SG - Raja Bell SF - LeBron PF - Boozer C - Noah 6th Man - Deng
I still think he goes to Chicago and will likely bring Boozer or David Lee with him. Those guys would give the Bulls a lineup that can win next year, and for many, many years after that. And if LeBron is all about winning, he'll realize this. If he goes to Miami...they can have fun filling a roster with crap players. There's no way they'll be able to get 8 or 9 players to sign for the league minimum. I think they'd be better off sticking with Wade and Bosh and then using that extra $12 mil in cap plus their MLE to get some good role players to put around those two.
