Too lazy to post a link. Watched the kid play in summer league. VERY good vision, not afraid to attack the basket, and steps in the passing lane. High IQ.

NO to Shannon Brown, cuz this kid is like a combo of Farmar and Brown, plus he'll probably come on board cheap. Unlike Sun Yue, you can tell this kid is loaded with confidence. I expect him to be the undrafted steal of the year. VERY excited to see him in purple and gold.

Personally, I still would LOVE to see T-Mac and Kurt Thomas as well.
    PG Steve Blake/Derek Fisher/Jeremy Lin
    SG Kobe Bryant/TMac/Sasha
    SF Ron Artest/Devin Ebanks
    PF Pau Gasol/Lamar Odom/Derrick Caracter
    C Andrew Bynum/Josh Powell/Kurt Thomas
    :pimp:

When will LeBron win his first ring? Some time after Kobe retires...

All us Chinese-Americans are rooting for Jeremy Lin. He plays basketball in the way that a kid raised in America would play like, unlike how it is overseas in Taiwan or China, where through my own exploits, they HATE contact. Let's go Jeremy Lin!!!

I'll get his jersey if he comes back to CA.

Yeah, finally someone to cheer for. I've always felt weird cheering for Asians from Asia in the NBA like Yao even though he's good. It's a combination of the fact that he is not that physical and doesn't play the American way. It's pretty hard to cheer for that since it's nothing we could relate to lol. I hope Jeremy makes it big!

Wes Matthews went undrafted too. So was Calderon, Bruce Bowen, Nocioni, Avery Johnson, Raja Bell, Brad Miller, John Starks, and Ben Wallace.

But, Lin is going to GSW anyways.

I don't blame him. Can't imagine he'd get much PT with the Lakers.

I imagine the Lakers preferred this guy over Shannon Brown, and I can't blame them. Now that Matt Barnes is back on the market, I think the Lakers are using their energy to try and get him in purple and gold.

Even though, I'm excited to see this kid. He's all upside. I think he can potentially be the best Chinese NBA player ever (yes, even better than Yao).

1.How many more players that were undrafted busted or left the league than ones who panned out? The number is large trust me.
    2. You would rather have an undrafted free agent than a proven player who has already learned the triangle?
3.Matt Barnes deal was for 5 mil per year, we can't offer close to that.
4.I am almost positive Jeremy Lin will have essentially as much impact as Sun Yue, have fun getting to one of the most offensively polished big men in NBA history though

The $5M deal for Barmes was through a S&T, which couldnt go down because the Magic are over the cap and dont have his Bird rights. I dont know if there is another way for him to ge tthat much $, but most of the teams are offering around $2M

Brown is better than Lin now, but Lin does have a lot of talent. The chances of him realising his potential are statistically very low.

OK, so we automatically assume that he amounts to nothing, gotcha.

In a couple of years, when this kid is a big contributor to a team, come talk to me again.

And yes, I'd prefer ANY SG over Shannon Brown. Lin has shown me that he has something that Shannon doesn't, a basketball IQ. He makes the right decision, is pass first, a good shooter, and a pretty good defender too. He's not looking to dunk the ball EVERY SINGLE TIME he gets it.
