I'm banking on Caracter and Ebanks being offered guaranteed deals. There is also talks about Luke Walton retiring because of how bad his back is.

    Fisher/Blake
    Kobe/Sasha
    Artest/Barnes/Ebanks
    Gasol/Odom/Caracter
    Bynum/Ratliff

That is a tenacious team defensively that isn't afraid to lay down a hard foul.

You certainly need to pray for a miracle like this, to stay relevant long-term.

This is a serious contender for at least two years, I don't think we need much more than that.

No one expected to stay relevant long-term. When Gasol was added, the mantra was to win now while Kobe was in his prime years. That is what we've done. This team, if healthy, will continue to contend for the next few years, too.

They've got a lot of money coming off in 2012 or 2013, also. Its the LA Lakers, they'll find a way to stay relevant. Shouldn't you be fucking LeBitch's mom or something?

I don't know if he'd got the Delonte West route, just go straight to the source and give it right to LBJ, haha.

As it stands, this team looks really strong and we have managed to improve upon last years roster. I'm anxious for this season to start. Now, the only unfinished business this offseason, for the most part, is getting Bynum that damn knee surgery.

I love both additions although I wish we could've kept Mbenga around. Imagine this lineup on the floor defensively.

Last I heard Bynum postponed the surgery for God knows why reasons. It's not good because he needs all the time he can get to rest it up.

I can't wait to see Barnes and Blake in purple and gold this season.

This season's lineup is better than last one imo. Our only weakness BENCH will be improved by a lot, we'll have a lot of depth and an extremely defensive team whose offense is one of the best in the league.

I'd still like to add a combo guard to the lineup for some insurance. Sasha isn't the most durable guy and he's the only backup for Kobe right now.

Bynum delayed injury because of Doctor's scheduling. It wasn't his choice.

Mitch is still considering Brown. Brown has not gotten enticing offers as he tought he would get so now he is hoping to get picked up by the Lakers. I opposed to signing him. He doesnt play team basketball.

Ends up SB3 did us a favor opting out. I still wouldn't mind re-signing him. He'll have a much shorter leash with Blake and Fisher competing for minutes in the back court. Not having Farmar out there with him should improve his performance.

So we added Barnes, Ratliff, and Blake.

Lost Farmar, Powell, Mbenga, and potentially Shannon and Luke (for different reasons). Also lost HK this season (bigger surprise than the whole FA debacle this offseason).

Not too bad. Although the HK thing confuses the hell out of me and came out of left field.

Yeah, frankly, I'm kinda surprised how HK suddenly became a Heat fan or Laker fan antagonizer, but whatever, his choice.

If we don't re-sign Shannon, who do you think will be on the inactive list if we sign both Ebanks and Caracter?

Bynum's surgery is very minor. He shouldn't need much time to recover. I just hope he can stay healthy.

I'd rather give it straight to LA, on the court. If they make it out that is.
