Here's the article espn yanked of their site about Lebron James. http://img821.imageshack.us/f/bloglebronespn.jpg/
ESPN is overreacting. LeBron was partying it up in Las Vegas big deal. This reminds me of the time Nike confiscated video footage of LeBron being dunked on at his basketball camp.
He's so self obsessed, he actually believes his own hype. Wonder how he will react to wade getting all the credit in miami if they manage to win something next season.
The same thing Shape thinks (in his first post at least), major cries over nothing. Woah he dribbled a ball in public! I think James'll be enjoying the champagne and Finals MVP trophy too much to complain.
Yeah, he'll try to put on a big gigantic fake smile and get used to being LeSidekick for the next few years. What a complete douche!!...lol.
6 and 0, these are the numbers. I'd say he has a loooooooong way to go. He's pretty lucky that Kobe is getting older and this Laker team isn't going to be too competitive in 3 years or so. Right now his record stands for getting sweeped in the finals, and this San Antonio team really wasn't something that special.
The only thing that will matter is the rings and the fact that he will never be on Kobe or Jordan's Level after taking the easy way out to be Wade's pippen.
Well good thing we're the future of the League. Uh ok, that Cavs team wasn't special either lol. Sure guy, you keep telling yourself that when LeBron gets 3-4 Finals MVPs. Kobe's not even the best player of the 2000s with a title.
Lol you and your basketballreference.com........ I feel like im discussing all of this with an encyclopedia that doesnt have a brain. It just spits out numbers. Who was better in the 2000's?
I am using my brain, you might not like what it has to say but that's another issue. You're right I forgot to compare Kobe for comparison's sake. Well based on the usage-efficiency tradeoff, I think it is pretty clear who was better in their prime. Kobe has a tough case to make because he's at the same level as Shaq offensively, but inferior in his defensive impact. Duncan is 4 points inferior to Kobe offensively (110 rating at 29 usage rate, turns into approximately 107 rating at a 32 usage rate), but is much much better defensively. 9 net points on D, I'd definitely give Duncan an edge. In addition over there Careers Shaq and Duncan have played a lot of minutes as well. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/tiny.cgi?id=kO2W2
Were not talkin about whos better in their prime. Were talkin about who has been the best from 2000 to 2010.
I'd say Duncan then since he has more prime years in the Decade. Shaq and Duncan if we mention their primes.
Let's make it simple Kobe's 5 rings>>>Lebron's 0 rings and 2 MVP's. At least he has a chance to be the best sidekick ever, pippen and stockton must really be worrying now.
Lol ok, and Magic was Kareem's sidekick because Kareem won a title first. Let's forget that Magic ran those teams. Just playing, what a joke accusation. You're a bitter Laker fan, LeBron will earn more Finals MVPs than Kobe.
