He had 37 goals last season. £10-million is a ludicrous bid. He is worth double that at least.

Different league, plus they already have Ronaldo, about to get Ozil, its not like Drogba would be their main striker.

What doesn't make sense? Why would they pay Drogba 30+ million when he will not be their main star? Get it?

Plus I don't think he would be that successful in La Liga.

'Cause Chelsea isn't going to give him away on the cheap just because Madrid don't need him to be their primary striker?

And why would he go somewhere to ride pine when obviously he is still playing at a high level?

He is easily one of the best strikers in the world. How wouldn't he start at Real? I would pick him over Benzema and Higuain any day. James Milner just moved from Aston Villa to City for £17. There is no way Drogba would go for any less than that, if not more.

Ozil isn't a striker and Mourinho won't be playing Ronaldo up-front.

Drogba isn't as good as you two are making him to be, he's been successful in the Chelsea system, anywhere else he'd play he'd be like shit.

Not worth more than 20 million pounds at this point in his career. Real finally made a smart decision not to overpay. lmao

How would a pure striker work differently in any other system? He is a goalscorer, that wouldn't change anywhere. If someone sends a good ball into the box, that's all he needs. Not only that, he can create his own chances which separates him from most other strikers.

I'm with Ronan on this one. Drogba would be a good pick up for any club. He's a finisher, but as has already been said, he can create his own chances to finish as well. Its kind of silly to think that he wouldn't score goals with Madrid, getting service from Ronaldo, Ozil and Di Maria. He'd be bagging tons of goals there and do his fair share of creating for those guys and Higuain.

As for the price, consider that Ozil went for 12.4m. The market in the EPL is ridiculous, but the market in other leagues (usually) is more realistic. Its easy to get thrown off when a guy like James Milner is going for 20m, and Ozil is going for nearly half that.

To be fair, 12.4m for Ozil is an absolute bargain. He could turn out to be a great player for Real, but I am basing most of my knowledge of him from the World Cup.

James Milner is a complete prick. Over-rated, can't even cement a first-team spot in the England squad. Ireland also moved the other way (to Villa) for anyone that cares.

No club in their right mind would pay over 20M (Except for Real Madrid) for a player who is past 30 years old, it just doesn't make sense, since this could be his last good season. 18M is a good price and you better take the money and run away with it before the player gets another injury and his age will make it worst, it happens to all players, drogba is no exception.

Ozil was stolen at that price... he must've told them RM was the only club he'd consider and otherwise he'd walk for nothing when his contract ran out. Or something. Great price.

Yeah Bremen had no choice but to sell him for any price that came, either that or let him walk end of season.

So now both Khedira and Ozil at Real. :)
