Game meant quite a bit more to Spain and Barcelona than it did the Lakers. I doubt the Lakers give two shits about losing.
Why did they insert Kobe late in the 4th quarter of a preseason game if they didn't care about winning? Face it, the Lakers embarrassed themselves and the entire NBA
I find it thoroughly entertaining that you actually believe this. I'm sure David Stern and Jerry Buss are crying to each other on the phone. Kobe's probably pissed about losing too. That game meant SO much to us.
lol..... Play Hard. Pre-Season! yeah! LOL Barcelona is a real threat to our 3peat hopes.... Just saying!
That game obviously didn't mean shit to the Lakers. However, I think that most of the NBA fans underestimate the talent of the top Euroleague teams. I dig Pau's shorter haircut btw, he looks more serious.
Guys don't respond to him, he's still pissed about the game 7 loss. Barcelona is a decent team and could beat other NBA teams as well on a given night.
Keep making excuses. Your starters played big minutes. Kobe was in the game all the way until the end. The Lakers were trying to win. They cared, even if you didn't.
Kansas City 2 - Manchester United 1 If you can figure out what's different between the match above and Lakers loss, let me know. As much as I dislike/hate the Lakers, you're being silly.
It's pre-season no one gives a shit. June 2011 comes and LAkers make their fourth straight trip to the Finals do you think some one is going to give a shit that they lost against Barcelona? Or even their pre-season record for that matter? Lakers 4 Celtics 3: Lakers 2010 Back2Back Champs and 16th Championship! <--- this matters.
