Week 6 SUN, OCT 17 at at at at at at at at at at at at at MON, OCT 18 at ·Bye: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Arizona, Carolina
SEA, BAL, NYG, ATL, PIT, GB, STL (my upset of the week), NO, KC, SF, NYJ, MIN, IND, TEN. -The 49ers are far too talented a team to lose 6 straight. They're horrible, but not bad enough to reach for Andrew Luck. I still think they'll win 6 MAYBE 7 by season's end. -I also have nothing else to say about the Chargers losing this one. If you argue they'll win, I won't fight back. I just like Bradford, Jackson and that D continuing to develop. And at home. -Poor, poor Colt McCoy having to face the best team in the league in his debut. I like him, but they're gonna absolutely rape this guy. I really hope he shows my Browns some sort of encouraging fight for the future.
San Diego is not a good team. They will not have a late season run this year. They're just not good. It has nothing to do with Rivers or the defense, either. Its special teams and coaching. Seriously, I'm not a Norv fan, but I haven't been one of those fans who puts every failure on him...but this shit is just ridiculous, now. AJ Smith needs his ego in check and Norv needs to go.
Yeah, I got that feeling about Chargers this year. They're just not the same team that looks like they'll make a late run this year. On a flip note, I GOT MY UPSET OF THE WEEK RIGHT!!! BOO YAA
Its coaching. Its disgusting--the players are playing with absolutely no fire out there...Norv does not have this team motivated at all. Next week against New England is going to be a big test for the Chargers. The end of October is usually when they start playing their best--we'll see if that holds true. Their defense has been damn impressive this year. Today it was their offensive line that fell apart...I think Rivers' got sacked 8 times, pretty much had no time to throw all game. I was very impressed with Patrick Clayton, though. I think he needs to be the #2 WR. Hopefully the injury to Gates is nothing serious. He missed most of the game. Nice to see Ryan Mathews get touches, too. I'd like to see his work load increase..as it will open up the field for Philip.
Another game that Detroit threw away in the last minutes. Man...its weird how shit works in the NFL. They could be 5-1 if they didn't make crucial mistakes
Being a Browns fan, I can call Lions fans lucky at this point. You guys are a LT away from becoming really good.
I have been burned by the Chargers and Cowboys so many times this year. Fortunately I picked against the Boys today and won, but the damn Chargers got me again. I thought they'd pull this one out.
