Atleast he didnt get a fine. Not a problem, its not like he would have played or anything. I wounder if hes able to sit on the bench or not?
Oh, huge loss not having him in his suit cheering on the team. Now the Suns have this series all wrapped up!I wanted Cuban to get fined, lol. Why not? He's so rich....

Who was that guy only suspended 5 for helping his wife a long time ago? That was more of a headline.Stupid David Stern trying to keep a pentilingual down.

Either way, I don't think Mbenga will be too badly missed, but six games for a guy who was in street clothes is ridiculous in my opinion.
Umm, this may seem like a really stupid question but I didn't see the game so can somebody please tell me what exactly happened? I know he entered the stands but why did he? And being suspended 6 games for someone who rides the bench the whole time doesn't really make any sense.

After the game, there was an altercation between Avery Johnson's wife and some other Suns fans. Mbenga and Cuban went to help or break it up or whatever. Mbenga was suspended, because the league is trying to maintain a consistent rule against players going into the stands.
After seeing the footage this is pathetic, hes out for 6 games. They showed the clip about half way durin the 1st quarter last night. Cuban was mouthing to some ugly Sun fans and Benga came in the picture and all he did was wisper something in Cubans ear and walk off. Stupid hes out 6 games. This is when Bengas judo should come in handy, jk

This rule is stupid. It should be open to interpretation. Mbenga looked like he was trying to be the peace maker and than he gets suspended. bullsh**.
I agree with Mavsfan, I think there should be exceptions to this rule about players entering the stands. It goes back to Antonio Davis as well. This sucks in that Benga will be needed if we advance, as we are facing Shaq/Zo next round and will need all of our bigs.
