I just want to say, who saw Matt Barnes's T last night?? WHY isn't the union doing anything about these rules?? Micromanaging players emotions? Are you KIDDING ME? Every year, I lose more and more respect for David Stern and the league.
The rules are ridiculous. I watched Jason Williams get tossed out of game the other night for basically nothing. I'm shocked there hasn't been some complaining by the union about this yet, cause it's ridiculous.
Why can't the players stop being little crybabies? People piss me the fuck off all day at my job, yet I still somehow remain composed. Why the fuck can't these assholes do it? They are all spoiled bitches making millions who complain about every little thing. And for some reason people sympathize with them.
Initially I hated the new tech rule but it has been refreshing not seeing guys throw their hands up or sprint down the court everytime they get called for a foul or dont get a call. But the Barnes tech was just stupid.
I understand and appreciate the rule, it's just going to become an issue when star players are getting thrown out of games for showing a little bit of emotion. To me, Stern is trying to take emotion out of the game, which is a terrible idea, and when star players are picking up their 15th tech and getting suspended halfway through the season, I think they'll realize that they're being a bit too strict.
