Ignoring the obvious Miami players I always talk about, why do you think the Hornets are 12-5? Yeah it's probably because Chris Paul is the MVP and leader in PER/WS/etc./insert.

He's dominating and if the Magic have a better record then the Celtics and can come top 2 in the East, he should win. Also, if you could form 4 players in to one, the Spurs should win MVP. 4 starters all over 15 PPG game. They are playing great, and no one is even speaking a whisper about them.
What is the question best player or MVP? If it's MVP it's Chris Paul and it's not close. That Hornets team is terrible, he's not playing with one allstar and look @ where they are at. If it's best player then it's obviously Kobe Bryant.
Best player? I'd put him at #2 behind Lebron at this point. And if "it's not even close" then people wouldn't be arguing over it, would they?
Also, I've heard many people talk about Dwyane Wade. I['ve watched every Heat game so far, and it seems as though he's regressed. Maybe it's the wear and tear on his body? Or perhaps its the lack of touches. When watching the Heat it seems as though neither Lebron or Wade are effective when they don't have the ball and just watch the other 'perform'. Lebron is still damn efficient but Wade looks like he's breaking down. He doesn't look anywhere near as explosive as he has in the past. I know Miami is Wade's city, but I'm 100% sure that if Riley were pushed into a corner he'd choose Lebron over Wade 10 times out of 10. With that said, if this Miami 'three kings' experiment doesn't pan out, It wouldn't be a stretch to see Wade traded for some key pieces.
