http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...est-player-in-the-NBA-right-no?urn=nba-288174 Sometimes, numbers aren't what they seem and people jump to conclusions too soon LOL Yes Pau is playing unbelievable but im not too sure im fully at awe especially because people are saying that he slowly becoming the lakers #1 guy (what if people start saying kobe can't win without pau? LOL)... i needy our points of view. Pau is a great player and is currently beasting, but he has room to operate bec. he has kobe as his teammate and teams can't swarm up on him.
You think he'll keep up his stats the whole year? Frankly, my MVP is Chris Paul is he takes the Hornets to a top 3 spot.
I love Pau as much as anyone, but the second that attention leaves Kobe, I'm not certain if Pau can dominate the way he is now. Look at Memphis.
wooord. and it's hard not to argue Chris Paul as the MVP. Look at that team. If they win 55+ games, you HAVE to give the MVP to Chris Paul.
Pau is indeed outplaying kobe BUT he wouldn't have this much space to do things without kobe as a teammate.
I don't think anyone's arguing that. The teams still gameplan around Kobe, not Pau. But Pau's been far more efficient, it's not even funny. Kobe's % has gone down.
He's getting older, Kobe. While he is amazing, I don't expect Kobe to always be the best in every category. Plus, Pau is the best PF in the league right now; which was predicted by some people a few years back.
Right now, the MVP is probably Chris Paul, I'll have to agree there. But Pau has been fantastic this year. He's been a double double machine and has been crazy efficient. While he's not our best player, he has played like our best player for most of the year. I don't know if he'll keep it up, especially when Bynum gets healthy, but he has been an absolute stud this year.
What about Memphis? He was putting up basically the same numbers in Memphis he just didn't have enough talent around him to succeed. Anyways Kobe Bryant is the best player in basketball, the MVP is Chris Paul.
