I actually enjoyed tonight's Raw. The Cena/Nexus segment was very entertaining and the main event was awesome. It was nice to see a change for once with the TLC match. I also enjoyed Sheamus and Morrison. Glad Sheamus won.

I'm actually watching it right now, and I'm PISSED about who won KOTR. Why Sheamus? It makes no sense. He's already a main-eventer and a two time champ, he didn't need to win it. In my book, the WWE failed big time with this one, as they had a really, really good chance to elevate John Morrison even further and they didn't. Instead, they let Sheamus win, who doesn't need his career elevated any further. Way to fail WWE.

Oh, I will say though, I've enjoyed this Raw thoroughly.

Oh, I also want to say this. CM Punk on commentary is money. He was great last week and great again this week. It's nice to have someone rip in to Cole and actually put him in his place. Hearing someone tell Cole to shut up is just wonderful.

Wow, what an ending. I already hated Michael Cole, and I hate him even more now. If Jerry is on the mic next week for commentary, that could be really, really interesting.

Speaking of Jerry, I'm shocked he was able to put on that good of a match. For a guy that doesn't toil in the ring too often anymore, he put on a pretty damn good performance, and made it look believable that he could have won the title.

Overall, this was definitely one of the better Raws in a while. While I COMPLETELY disagree with who they made KOTR, it was still a good show.

I thought Punk was awful last week, but once King left the commentary, it was great. I think the two on one dynamic with King, Punk and Cole takes away from the action. I also just dislike three-man commentary teams as a general rule, regardless of sport/entertainment.

I think it works well because King just sits there and takes it. He never really has a lot of push-back on Cole. Plus, Cole is so over the top right now in his heel role, that it almost needs a couple of people to keep him in check.

Sheamus is King for a reason. The reason is he's the King now and If you remember Triple H was put out by Sheamus and Triple H calls himself The King of Kings and this set's up for his return.

Meh, it better. I've heard that HHH is supposed to be coming back this month, so that'd be nice. But I still look at this as a failed opportunity by the WWE to elevate someone's career.

Morrison's career isn't over Moo. For some reason I can't see him being one of the biggest stars in the WWE at the moment. I think he lacks the mic skills.

I know it's not over, I just thought this was a HUGE opportunity for the WWE to give him some push, instead of giving another push to a person who's going to main event PPVs consistently, regardless of whether or not he won KOTR. Regarding his mic skills...I think he's good enough. He's not the most charismatic guy on the mic, but look at people like Rey Mysterio, Orton, Kane...I don't really consider any of those guys great on the mic, but they've all been title holders this year (granted this is the first main event push Kane has had in what..a decade?). I'm just saying, I still think he's going to get his push, but I think they biffed it big time on this one, missing a great opportunity to push someone who's been deserving of it for a decent chunk of time now.

So, just thought I'd bring this thread back, but tonight's Raw was also pretty damn good. I dug the mutiny of Nexus at the end, that's going to make for a pretty interesting Raw next week.

Also...loving the Morrison/Sheamus feud still. The WWE better book a damn good match for these two at TLC, because their rivalry this past month has been fantastic.

Oh, and I must say, seeing Cole get RKO'd to begin the show made the night for me. This Raw was one of the better recently, not just because they put on quality stuff, but because I didn't have to listen to that douche canoe all night. I'll be curious to see how the Jerry/Cole storyline progresses next week.
