The way I see it Wes plays defense, attacks the rim, shoots a decent three ball, get his teamates involved, and moves the ball up the court!

Even when Roy was "HEALTHY" he never played defense or moved the ball with any energy allowing other teams to set up.

How is this not an upgrade in the long run?

Roy off the bench seems to be logical...

If we continue to lose it's not cause of Wes it's cause we have no coach, I truly believe now Roy starting making us worse.

LOL you can't be serious, Roy is the 3rd best shooting guard in basketball and a top 15 player when healthy. Wes is a decent role player, but cmon now were talking about Brandon Roy.

This would be like me saying let's bench Kobe in favor of Brown. LOL!

Have you seen his last six games? He's got Andre Miller lift and my mom could block his shot! Further I think the league knows he's gone lame cause he could get kicked down the court without a whistle!

Roy has a better ability to hit really tough shots, which is a key to our offense being successful.

Oh and the point is he's not ever going to BE HEALTHY AGAIN not to the level that made him a top 3 shooting guard, he's got no knees !!!

Oh ya mean when no play is run the clock has almost run out and Brandon does a 1 on five shot that when he had lift would go in? That one?

I think you guys still think we're dealing with Brandon Roy year 2? He's a shell of that now! Imagine Kobe with no knees and or lift and I promise Phil would be playing Brown way more!

Roy still has a great pull up jumper. That is a skill that used to be common, but isn't amymore. He just needs to find new ways to create more separation. His game will evolve. Hopefully sooner than later, but it eventually will. No one else on the team comes close to having a pull up jumper. Matthews has a decent one at the free throw line. But not in Roy's class.

Let's also not forget the Kobe is one of the best defenders in the game, Roy think again!

Kobe played with a bad knee and a bad finger last season, he would struggle mightily with his shot at times, but that never changed the player that he was. Same goes for Roy, he may be struggling to adjust and may be slightly injured, but he is most definitely still the best player on the Blazers.

I want to point out to all the doom and gloom posters, that Brandon Roy had no meniscus last year as well and struggled to find his shot at times, but he eventually got it going and became a 3 time All Star.

I understand that people are down on the team and Brandon at the moment. But come on people, have some faith.

You can either keep doing the same thing and failing over and over again, repeating the same mistakes, or you can adjust and change the path. This is almost like groundhog day. The only difference is, eventually Bill Murray made a change and broke the cycle. Whereas, we are still in the pickup, with the groundhog in it, being chased by the cops and driving off the cliff.

Kobe has meniscus in his knees, Roy does not! This is not about waiting for a finger to mend or having a sore knee! Roy has no break pads in his knees means he's bone on bone! Kobe is not! There's a little difference....

Jeez, the Roy hate is getting out of hand.

He can actually pass the ball. Wes either can't or doesn't. And Roy's midrange game is money. Wes doesn't have a midrange game. Roy also has a better handle of the ball ( I know the last few games have said otherwise, but the point remains).

There's a reason BRoy made the all star team three times in a row.

And no matter WTF you say, BRoy is still one of the most clutch players in the game.
