    You say this and then you have a disgusting game? 5 - 19fgs, 1 assists, 5 TO's...

Wow! Talk about leading by example. Yes this is simply a bad game for Kobe, he has one every so often. But we need him to play like our MVP right now more than ever and this is what he comes up with. Damn.

do the lakers need to make a trade to jumpstart the team, to show the players that they aren't untouchable?

it seems that without the rest of the squad feeling it, kobe is being let down. granted it could be that his bad play recently has spoiled the spirits of the rest of the team, and as you can see, kobe is obviously frustrated and feeling a little desperate, the confrontation with hill today was evidence of that.

i think if pau doesnt pull his head out of his ass, hé should be benched, i know its sort of harsh to do to a superstar, but the guy is just weak as piss out there. if he cant be competeing at the same level as other bigs such as dwight and amare then we are wasting our time. its what he can do, but it isnt what he is trying to do, which is unfortunate.

i think the lakers are adament that they will 3 peat with the same roster as last years, with just a few small changes. but its obviously not working. we need to be able to beat miami, boston and spurs, but we need the right players to do it. if this lot cant prove that they can compete at that level then i dont see the point in keeping with them.

 A bad stretch of games in December...

Yeah, the team is struggling bad right now but it comes down to a few things. One, Kobe's got another jacked up finger on his hand, I question how badly that pinky is sprained.
Two, Gasol is missing point blank shots and going back to playing like Gasoft. Three, Odom is being to passive. And four, we need Bynum back 100% (which is scary, we NEED him) if we seriously want to 3-peat. Once he gets back into game condition, Gasol should get back to being very efficient and being his usual dominant self.

Factor all this with Shannon Brown coming back down to earth and Blake not being able to buy a bucket right now and of course we're going to struggle.

I'm not too worried right now. We can't buy a foul from the refs and Bynum is working his way back. If we're still struggling when Bynum is 100%, then yeah, we should be worried.

Not as good as last year it seems. They'll probably turn it on in the playoffs but it will suck if you have to play away for the last 3 series.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, especially with Spurs dominating everyone and having the best record in the league.

Haha, I can't believe you would compare the Cavs and the Spurs. Even when they had LeBron.

How many championships does Cleveland have? Right.

they have won the same amount of championships in the last 3 years. The Lakers have won 2 out of 3, IIRC.

Does that really matter? Aside from the decrepit big 3 (though not so far this year), theres no one from that championship team.

Lol the Spurs are hot in November and December. It is a marathon, not a sprint. Manu is injury prone, Duncan is old, and Parker is not enough to keep that team together. We'll see how they're playing come March.

I know it is just one game, but look at what Bynum in the starting lineup has done tonight. Stay healthy kid.

I wouldn't count the Spurs out just because Duncan is getting older. (maybe I'm wrong)
