I know this isn't the playoffs... and were taking it nice and slow...

But don't the lakers have enough pride to at least try and not loose back to back games to god awful teams? Charlotte, i can understand, was just a hiccup... But to a team that just had a 26-game losing streak?

*BTW, what's wth Kobe taking zero FT's in those 2 games...

I'm tired of the players just getting interviewed and don't seem to be bothered about this losses. I understand lossest to top notch teams or losing by a buzzer beater but when you are playing against a team who's tallest man is 6'8' and you have two 7 footers, C'MON!

ARtest attitude is pissing me off too. He was asked by John Ireland if there is a way to fix the current lakers issues, and his response was, "Fixed What?" Yeah you'r f'n athletic careers is flushing down the toilet faster than Allen Iverson's career. Dude needs to stop trying to be a rapper and get his shit straight.

Before last night's game I said, if the Lakers lose to the Cavs. I would call it a season and they did so I'm officially over it.

If the Lakers didn't have Phil on the bench, I would be inclined to say it is over, but that's not the case.

I will return the favor and say Boston is the favorite. If the Celtics get both O'Neals back and the rest of the rotation players can stay healthy I can't see many teams overcoming their depth. Dealing with the size of Shaq, Perk, on the inside is going to wear the opposing front court players down. They clog those lanes and force you to win from the perimeter. Lakers are the only team with skilled big men up to challenge them in the post.

I think Boston is the clear favorite if they stay healthy. LA can match up with them if Gasol doesn't let his vagina bleed.

I agree Gasol's "attitude" is the wild card come playoff time. I just don't see the spark in his game this season and he's gone back to being GaSoft. He's logged a lot of minutes and has been playing out of position possibly contributing to his lethargic play. PJax said he will start cutting the minutes of his starters for the second half of the season. I guess we will see tonight how the team comes out against a playoff caliber opponent. I think we only have 7 or 9 wins against teams with .500+ records this year. That is alarming.

It's very inorant to write us off. This is an old laker team but a wise one. Were not going to burn our legs off yet until it really counts.

It's odd that 2 of the 10 wins Cleveland has were against Boston and Lakers.
