Which one do we go after? Now, keep in mind, DFish, Kobe, LO, Pau, and Bynum are all basically untouchable. Steve Blake is untouchable UNLESS we get a PG in return. I'm pretty sure the same can be said about Shannon Brown (unless we get a SG in return). Artest is NOT gonna be a good stand alone piece. Too many years, and nobody wants him. Don't package him in a deal with Walton either because, c'mon...

What do we do? I think we stand where we are simply because we don't have any tradeable assets.

Maybe Artest for a young backup PG? (I like Jrue Holiday)

    Sound off!

Rip is more of a SG, but you dont want his contract.

How is Iggy "gettable"? He's the 76ers best player, and not even Ron Artest plus a pick is worth it.

Do you REALLY think the Lakers would trade Fish?

Also, Iggi's name has been brought up in trade talks quite often.

Iguodala isn't gettable without giving up Bynum or LO. And I don't think that's going to happen.

Shane Battier should be the small forward the Lakers target.

I'd make a run @ Battier, Stephen Jackson, or Gerald Wallace.

Life is great, baby is great. He'll be 6 months in a few weeks. It's pretty cool because my close friends all had babies at the same time and all of us have boys. We have enough for a basketball team and two subs. LOL.

Two names to keep any eye on.

Jason Kapono expected to be bought out by Philly
Troy Murphy expected to be bought out by Golden State

@Shape can the Lakers sign once the buyout occurs? At what cost? Who would they cut?

Lakers only have 14 roster players. Yes I'm pretty sure the Lakers can sign once a buyout occurs.
